Thank you Coordinator Bogleheads Japan Chapter! As Bogleheads is a forum that relates to financial independence, I think Japan is relevant. Japan is actually one very good candidate FIRE destination. Seldom you can find a better combination of quality and safety in a society while the cost is very reasonable for what you get. Like we say in Japan, the "CosPa" (cost vs performance relationship) is very good!
